360 Rural (Founder)
Ben launched 360 Rural to provide an innovative and fresh approach to rural business advice. In his previous role as Head of Property & Estates at Dyson Farming he focussed on the creation and implementation of strategy involving significant land and property acquisitions during a period of rapid business growth. He delivered a wide variety of capital projects to provide infrastructure for new and existing business activities alongside the renovation and development of a wide variety of rural property assets.
As a member of the Senior Management Team his executive role included responsibility for farming, renewable energy, property, estate and professional services for one of the largest owned and operated, highly diversified farming businesses in the UK. Most recently he was responsible for the business planning and project management of a new 15 acre glasshouse enterprise with associated processing and packing facilities, producing soft fruit for the retailers at the shoulders of the UK season.
Ben started his career with Property & Business Consultants Brown & Co where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, spending 9 years acting for a wide variety of clients in the rural sector before taking up the role with Dyson Farming in 2014.
Ben farms in partnership with his family where they operate a diversified business with a small landholding at the core. With a hands on approach, he has personally navigated his own family business through succession and diversification which has driven him to support other clients through periods of change by providing strategic business solutions for the rural sector.
He is a Non-Executive director of a Multi Academy Trust and sits on a number of committees locally.
